De’Maris Brown

Among her other responsibilities, De’Maris works in the patent intellectual property field. However, since childhood, her passion has always been advocating for her community.  She incorporates her educational background to demystify the lineage-based reparations claim for American Freedmen. As a proud member of the DMV Freedmen, she serves as our Outreach Director.  De’Maris is also a Christian, wife, and a mother of three.
